Check-in, move-out notices and check-out

Check tenants in, receive move-out notices and settle the final bill and deposit.

RoomHive follows a stay from arrival to departure.

Move-out notices

A tenant can give notice of their last day from their home screen, and withdraw it if plans change. Staff with permission acknowledge it under Check-in / out → Move-out notices. The notice period defaults to 30 days, and you can change it in your property profile. Shorter notice is accepted, but it is marked as short notice.

Check-out

The check-out dialog pre-fills the refundable amount based on your policy, and you can change it. Unpaid charges are settled first from the deposit or advance, and a final-bill invoice is issued if needed.
