Rooms and beds

How RoomHive tracks every room and bed, shows live availability and keeps each move on record.

RoomHive tracks availability at bed level, so you always know exactly what is free. This suits shared rooms as well as whole units.

How it is organised

Your property has floors, floors have rooms, and rooms have beds. A studio or flat let as one unit can be set up as a single room.

Live status

Every bed shows whether it is free, held for a booking or taken. When a tenant checks in or moves out, the status changes on its own.

Moving a tenant

To move a tenant, open their page and use the bed picker. It shows floors, rooms and free beds, so you never scroll through a long list. Tenants can also ask for a room change from their account, and each move stays on record.

Keep your bed list accurate

Verifying your beds is a required step before your first booking, because tenants book from this list. Check it again whenever your layout changes.
