Import tenants from Excel

Move your existing tenants into RoomHive from an Excel file: upload, fix any rows, then import.

If you already have tenants, you don't need to type them in one by one.

How importing works

  1. Upload your Excel file.
  2. RoomHive checks it and shows the rows back to you.
  3. Fix anything it flags, right there on screen.
  4. Run the check again after any edit, then import.

You can do this on the website or in the app.

Rent due dates

The file has no due-day column. Imported tenants follow your property's rent due setting, which is either each tenant's move-in day or one day for everyone. Set that first in your property profile.
